What should I expect in Worship

Walking through the doors of a church you’ve never attended can be intimidating. We hope to take a few of those concerns away by addressing them right here:

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

There is no dress code at the Mount. You’ll see some people dressed in jeans and a polo, and others will be dressed in khaki shorts and a t-shirt. Come as you are!

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING THE SERVICE?

Our services are generally about an hour long. During the service, you’ll receive a sermon from one of our pastors. Their message is always based on God’s Word, and is also relevant and applicable.

Oh, and we love to sing at the Mount! At every service an acoustic guitarist, a live pianist, an organist, and maybe even a soloist, a choir, a musical guest will assist us in singing praises to Jesus. We do a blended worship service which means that we include beloved hymns and contemporary songs.

All are invited to enjoy refreshments in our community room after the service!

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We love having children in the service. We know that sometimes they make some noise.  We know that sometimes they wiggle a little bit.  But we love having them in worship.  It's a great opportunity for you to teach them about what is important in your life.  It's a great opportunity for you to do this most important thing as a family.  We already do so much apart. We're excited to help you worship together with your kids.  Let us know how we can help.
